This is an introduction to our "End Mills for Plywood Processing." Wood-based plywood is a material made by layering thinly sliced veneer boards with adhesive, which makes the adhesive parts very hard. The challenge has been that conventional carbide tools wear out quickly. In this development, we aim to extend tool life by brazing artificial diamond tips to the cutting edges and have designed it to minimize burrs by adjusting the cutting angles.
